Sway Manor Workshop - Jurasic Coast

I have been back to Sway Manor today for another fun filled day of painting.  The theme this time was Jurasic Coast.  I did bring lots of pictures as inspiration but then really liked this one that Jane had in her collection to show us....

 

Here is my attempt at it in Acrylics....

 

I had about 20 mins left over at the end of the day so was told I had to do another painting...eeek!!  Here is my speedy watercolour...

Loooooooom!!

Pauline found a loom on eBay recently for the bargain price of £30 so I bought it off her.  Its been sitting in my dining room for about a month but I have come to Paulines this weekend and brought it with me to strip off the old yarn that was left on it when we bought it (as pictured) and learn how to wind a warp and get it threaded up to make something gert lush lush on it!

We had a get together at work this evening and I finally managed to paint a Bruce porthole, been wanting to do him since I did Heidi's Nemo bump last year....
