Slide the beads down to the coiled part and keep turning the handle so it coils with the beads on.....
When the beads run out then coil a small section just with the wire so they stay in place. Snip the wire at both ends so it slides off the gizmo and there you have a bead. You can stretch them a bit too so the coil opens up......
You can thread these onto leather thongs or chain or if you want to be really smart you can make a smaller coil with a loop at one end....
.....and then you can slide this second coil inside the first one....
.....and then make another loop the other end so the inner coil stays in place.....
You can use jump rings to join these beads together or use them as pendants. If you have stretched the beaded coil slightly then you can see the inner coil through the first one!
I also had some of these nice spiral beads I bought years ago so I threaded some wire through and put beads through the spiral so they were on the wire inside the spiral beads and then made a coil each end so they were trapped (Mwah ha ha!)
Then I used them along with this nice glass heart bead to make into this necklace....
I'm loving the colours, think this one might have to be mine all mine!!
